the birthday boy!
Yesterday was Jack's big numero uno birthday and yes, I made that cupcake just for him. Sad, I know. We adopted him last October from the local SPCA and he has become one of the best things that has ever happend to me. He's a snuggler too who I'm convinced has Seasonal Affective Disorder. He actually burrows into blankets on rainy days haha. We love him. Last weekend we had a scare while I was in DC. Dave had taken him on a walk and somewhere off the trail, Jack was stung by something that caused his whole face to break out into hives and he threw up a lot. Lovely. So, Dave took him to the emergency vet and they kept him over night to find out that Jack had gone into Anaphylactic Shock...just like people with intense allergies. It felt like a family member was dying. So awful but he couldn't be better now!
He loves funfetti cupcakes...who doesn't!?! haha.
